Lee is the founder of Emmett's Sound Productions and has been a D.J. since 1977. Certainly our most lively D.J., Lee can turn any event into a fun and enjoyable event to attend (see Client Feedback)! Lee has worked private parties to night clubs and has a real feel for different events. Lee has performed at well over 1000 weddings in Northern California in the past 30+ years. Lee has been responsible for training many D.J.s over the years, several of whom now have their own D.J. service in the Northstate area.
Sara is our business manager who displays her organized office skills daily with all of our clients. You will find how pleasant she is to work with and how prompt she is with follow-up and details when you contact us. Sara's talents extend far beyond our office, as she is a fine D.J. in her own rite. She has a great "feel" for reading crowds, a good knowledge of music and has tremendous energy that fits with her outgoing personality. Sara also provides brides with organizational support as a wedding coordinator. Her services range from consultations to providing a "complete wedding coordinator package" including day-of-event service. See our 
Greg is a quality, seasoned D.J. who has ten years experience as a radio D.J. in Reno, San Luis Obispo and Chico. He has over twenty years of experience as a mobile jock and has done voice work for many TV stations. Greg has many hours of volunteer air time under his belt including Jerry Lewis Telethons and other fundraisers. Greg admittingly enjoys events and celebrations of all types and is the most "likeable" of our crew. He not only brings his experience to your event, but also a lot of energy and professionalism with a relaxed personality. It’s hard not to like Greg - hire him and you’ll find out why!
We are very proud to have onboard with the Emmett’s Sound Productions crew, Mr. Jim Mangus. Jim is certainly the type of quality DJ and person you want working for you on your special day. Jim is one of the DJs in the North State that was initially trained by our founder Lee McHatton back in the late 1980's. Jim has had his own DJ service for many years, performing at countless wedding ceremonies and receptions in addition to assisting, coordinating and planning the wedding music. Jim has an excellent voice, putting it to use as an Emcee for dozens of major recording artists who have performed at local venues, such as Boyz II Men, Hootie and the Blowfish, Michael Bolton and Kool 'n the Gang, just to name a few. We are honored to have Jim working with us, helping us maintain our standards of excellence!
Andrew is our multi-talented DJ, in that he is also one of our licensed pastors, in addition to being an extremely gifted musician. Andrew has recorded two CDs entitled "Alone" and "Christmas Time," which command your attention and captivates your heart. In addition to his passion and knowledge of music, Andrew’s strength as an emcee allows his shows to flow very smoothly. Andrew’s outstanding public speaking skills shine in front of any crowd at any celebration! Experiencing even one of Andrew’s many talents is a treat for all who have the opportunity. See him in action and you’ll know just why!
Dustin Cook is one of our younger talents in the Emmett's Sound Productions' crew. Dustin is an accomplished guitarist and vocalist in a local worship band, having performed for several years. Dustin has several personal qualities such as promptness, politeness and a very relaxed personality that is easy to work with. In addition he is very "cool" under pressure, which is a great asset when performing at weddings. Professional in several ways, even in the way he dresses and presents himself, Dustin is a fine young man and a great compliment to our staff of Disc Jockeys!
