He has led bands and musical groups for churches, schools, and concerts. His musical theatre experience goes from chorus work to solos and major lead roles. Andrew traveled twice internationally performing choral music and in the fall of 2003 released a CD of his own piano solos. Andrew is a dynamic singer/songwriter who has played piano for the last 18 years and guitar for the last 12 years. His musical styling is gentle and melodic, perfect for a wedding atmosphere or dinner music. Andrew’s musical influences include: George Winston, Michael W. Smith, Sting, and James Taylor. Talented Andrew Burchett is available for hire performing on the piano, keyboard, guitar and/or singing as a soloist or even performing a duet with his lovely wife Linda (see Linda Burchett Bio). Andrew’s enthusiasm, radiance and love for both music and people make him a favorite among every crowd! Linda Burchett Soloist/Musician Linda is one of the most talented singers in Northern California. Her experience as a vocalist spans more than 20 years. In her teen years, she recorded an album of country music in Nashville and has since played many roles in musical theatre. In the fall of 2003 Linda played the lead role in The Chico Theater Company’s production of Seven Brides and Seven Brothers. Her ability to sing gospel, pop, country, opera, or classical choral music makes her very versatile. As a vocal coach and piano teacher, Linda trains others in music. Linda Burchett is available upon request to perform duets, and when so, may be accompanied by her husband Andrew (see bio above). Mahlon Rice Mahlon is another example of a quality person among the crew at Emmett’s Sound. Integrity, honesty and excellence are all important aspects of Mahlon’s character that allow him to be a good fit in our organization. Music is a big part of Mahlon’s life and even his family’s life. Mahlon is a multi-talented musician playing drums, piano, guitar and he’s also a talented vocalist. Mahlon certainly caters to the current generation, being our youngest DJ and most interested in the current top hits, but he certainly appreciates the oldies as well. Mahlon is a natural fit in the Emmett’s Sound family and is actually kin to the owners.
