(This format is only a guideline and can be altered to meet personal preferences.)
* Background music plays as guests arrive. Guests mingle, partake in drinks, hor d'oeurves, etc.
 
* Predetermined person notifies the MC/DJ that the bridal party has arrived, and the MC announces/introduces the bridal party and/or the Bride and Groom. Song to be played as Bride and Groom are introduced:
 
* The pastor, priest, family member, etc. blesses the food prior to the meal, if desired. Announcement of the food being served takes place.
 
* Bridal party and guests partake in the meal while dinner music is played. Type of dinner music preferred:
 
* At the end of the meal, the Bride and Groom stand by their cake with the best man and/or maid/matron of honor. The MC gets the guests' attention, introduces the best man and/or maid/matron of honor, and he/she conducts the toast.
 
* The Bride and Groom cut the cake. Cake is served to the guests.
 
*** THE ATTENTION OF ALL GUESTS IS RECEIVED ***
DJ announces the dedication song - the Bride and Groom's first dance together as husband and wife.

* All single ladies are gathered on the dance floor for the tossing of the Bride's bouquet. Bride tosses bouquet on the count of three. (Typically done after the first few dances.)
 
* All single gentlemen are gathered on the dance floor. Bride sits on the best man's knee or a chair as the groom takes of the garter. Groom tosses the garter after the count of three.
 
* Pictures are taken of the recipients of the bouquet and garter.
